Travel through the North Island from the Capital city, through the lovely Hawkes bay to volcanic Rotorua then on to Auckland...

Day 1: Wellington - Napier
Board your coach and travel via Palmerston North and the Manawatu Gorge to the vineyards of the Hawkes Bay.  You will be met and taken on a tour of the vineyards and the Napier district. Overnight in Napier

Day 2: Napier - Rotorua
This morning is free to explore the art deco city we can recommend a guided walk.  At midday you cross the Rangitaiki Plains to Lake Taupo and on through exotic forest to fiery Rotorua.  Tonight enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and concertStay two nights in Rotorua.

Day 3: In Rotorua
A half-day sightseeing tour is included - you will see roaring geysers, boiling mud pools at the thermal area, tame trout at the springs and performing sheep and dogs at the Agrodome.  This afternoon is free and there are many activities to attract you.

Day 4: Rotorua - Waitomo - Auckland
After leaving fiery Rotorua, travel to Waitomo for a tour of the limestone caves.  Board an underground punt to cruise below a galaxy of glow worms.  Continue via Hamilton and the Waikato River to Auckland.
